At Edda Group Denmark we are looking for an Accounting Specialist with development potential for our Finance team in Copenhagen. You will have a broad role in daily financial operations with responsibility for, among other things, bookkeeping, reconciliations, invoicing and monthly reporting. The role is especially suitable for you who have a solid accounting foundation and would like to develop towards a larger and more autonomous controlling responsibility.

You will become part of a team of five employees with close collaboration, short decision-making processes and flexible framework. When you have settled into the role, there is the possibility of up to two days of remote work per week.

Take responsibility for financial operations – and develop toward controlling

You will, among other things, be working with

• Bookkeeping, reconciliations and monthly reporting
• Balance reconciliations and month-end close
• Preparation of financial statements/figures for reporting
• Invoicing of customers
• Ad hoc tasks in daily financial operations
• Optimization and development of financial processes

As you grow into the role, you will have the opportunity to take on greater responsibility and work with more controlling-related tasks.

Who are you?

We expect that you have experience from an accounting, bookkeeping or finance function. You can also come from an audit firm and be ready to take the next step on the corporate side.

You have a good understanding of debit/credit, accounting principles and balance reconciliations, work in a structured way and enjoy hands-on tasks. At the same time you are curious and motivated to develop professionally. An HD, Cand.Merc or another relevant financial education is an advantage, but not required.

Experience with Business Central will be a big plus , as it will be one of your primary tools. The same goes for strong skills in Excel , which you will continually use in connection with reconciliations, reporting and financial follow-up.

Familiarity with Business Central is not a requirement, but an advantage. The most important is that you have good system understanding and a desire to quickly get to grips with new tools.
