ActivCare seeks an experienced SSA for our team in Faaborg

For a man with ALS living near Faaborg, we are looking for an experienced social- and health assistant for a respiratory team. You will be an important part of the daily life around the citizen and his family, where presence, stability and high professionalism are essential.

At ActivCare you will receive a specialized task where your professionalism, resilience and human approach help create safety and quality of life for both the citizen and his closest ones. You will become an important part of a team around a family who need continuity, presence and high professionalism in everyday life.

A daily life where your professionalism and your presence make a difference

The citizen lives with ALS and receives respiratory treatment. In addition, he receives full help and support for all daily activities.

You will become part of a mixed helper team where cooperation, responsibility and respect for the individual are keywords. At the same time, you will work closely with Respiration Center South (RCS), the home care service and other relevant collaborators around the citizen.

The task requires that you can work independently, maintain an overview and meet both the citizen and relatives with professionalism, care and respect.

We are looking for an experienced social- and health assistant who rests in their professional stance and thrives on taking responsibility.

We are looking for you who

• Is educated as a social- and health assistant
• Has solid experience and rests in your professionalism
• Preferably has experience from home care, psychiatry or complex citizen trajectories
• Is robust and responsible
• Has good observation skills and responds professionally to changes in the citizen's condition
• Thrives with independent work and interdisciplinary collaboration
• Is present and wishes to create continuity in the family's daily life

Experience with respiratory treatment is an advantage but not a requirement. You will receive the necessary training and certification to be well prepared for the task.

Working hours and employment terms

There are 12-hour shifts with 15 minutes overlap between shifts to ensure a good handover and continuity in the effort. All shifts are awake shifts

You will

• Be employed at ActivCare as a temporary worker
• Be covered by the current FOA agreement for temporary workers
• Be paid according to the agreement and relevant qualifications
• Be covered by the current rules on pension, vacation and relevant allowances

Working time and concrete shift plan will be agreed upon closer to employment.

A close collaboration around the citizen

Although you work independently on shift, you will never be alone in the task. You will become part of a close collaboration between the helper team, Respiration Center South and the home care service.
