About the job

ADK Specialist for Facility Management

Do you want to help ensure that the municipality's buildings are accessible, safe and well-functioning?

Facility Management in Faaborg-Midtfyn Municipality is seeking an ADK specialist for our Security Team.

You will be one of the municipality's two specialists in access control (ADK) and, together with your colleague, have the professional responsibility for access control across the municipality's buildings.

At the same time you will be an important part of the Security Team, which works with the municipality's overall security and building systems.

The position is for you who thrive with technology, systems and coordination, and who are motivated to create stable and user-friendly solutions in an organization with many different users and needs.

Your main tasks

As an ADK specialist your main task will be to ensure stable and efficient operation of the municipality's access control systems.

  • Operation, administration and development of the municipality's ADK systems.
  • Creation, modification and maintenance of access rights.
  • Handling and coordination of fault reports, service tasks and change requests.
  • Collaboration with users, managers, IT, tradespeople and external suppliers.
  • Programming, testing and commissioning of new installations and solutions.
  • Documentation of installations, configurations, procedures and workflows.
  • Standardisation and optimization of access control across the municipality.
  • Participation in projects in new constructions, renovations and refurbishments.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of the Security Team.

Other tasks in the Security Team

Although ADK is your primary area of responsibility, you will also be involved in the operation and development of other technical systems, including:

  • AIA (automatic intrusion alarm).
  • ABA (automatic fire alarm).
  • ADBL (automatic fire door closing).
  • ABV (automatic fire ventilation).
  • BMS (Building Management Systems), including CTS and Danfoss Leanheat.
  • Elevator alarms.
  • Electric doors and door automation.
  • Emergency, escape route and panic lighting.

We imagine that you

  • Have technical understanding and interest in technical installations, access control and

security systems.

  • Would preferably have experience as an electrician or from work with technical installations, access control, automation or security systems.
  • Want to learn and develop yourself within access control and security systems.
  • Work in a structured and systematic manner.
  • Can maintain overview and follow tasks through to completion.
  • Thrive with both operational tasks and development tasks.
  • Are good at collaborating with many different professional groups.
  • Can translate technical problems into practical solutions.
  • Focus on service, quality and safety.

We place greater emphasis on your technical understanding, interest and willingness to learn than on your educational background.

We offer

  • A specialist position with great importance for the municipality's operation and security.
  • Opportunity to become one of the municipality's key professional contacts within access control.
  • A central role in the development of the Security Team.
  • Great autonomy and influence in your own area of work.
  • Opportunities for relevant courses and competency development.
  • A strong professional environment with engaged colleagues.
  • Collaboration across Facility Management, IT, Infrastructure and the municipality's other areas of expertise.

About us

Facility Management operates and develops the municipality's buildings and technical installations. In the Security Team we are responsible for the municipality's central security systems and work every day to create safe, secure and well-functioning premises for citizens, employees and partners.
