About the job

Be part of Ældre Sagens It & Digital Development, where we operate, optimize and further develop digital solutions for our members, volunteers and staff.

In Ældre Sagen's IT and Digital Development department, we work to implement an ambitious user-oriented digital strategy through solid, secure and accessible IT and digital solutions. We do this with a strong focus on continuously improving the user experience, and therefore we work hard and purposefully with optimizing usability and accessibility in our digital solutions.

IT and Digital Development is a department with a total of 16 competent, skilled and development-oriented colleagues in a flat and manageable management structure. We have an informal tone, based on trust, safety and openness. Creativity and ideation are valued – and we emphasize professional, but also informal collegiality with room for plenty of smiles, fun and banter.

As a student employee you will work independently with technical operations, optimization and quality assurance on selected systems, but always in close collaboration with the department's digital consultants. You will not be coding, but you must be able to communicate defects and change requests to a supplier and test that a delivery is in order. We work with a range of different digital solutions, M365, PowerApps.

We expect you to be responsible and able to work structured and to have a focus on bug fixing, optimization and further development. You are independent, service-minded and deliver high quality in your tasks. You should ideally have at least one year left of your studies.

The tasks with operation, optimization and quality assurance are arranged depending on your profile, but can include, among others:

  • Systematic work with accessibility across Ældre Sagen's solutions
  • Routine tasks within quality assurance of our user-facing platforms
  • Routine tasks within documentation in general, as well as follow-up on routine inquiries in the case management system (Topdesk)
  • Assistance to colleagues in using Google Analytics/Google Data Studio reporting
  • Assistance to colleagues in both our service desk and service-responsible team, including help with troubleshooting and reproducing errors in applications and user-facing solutions
  • Contributing to the development and use of flows and automation in PowerApps

Who are we?

You will become part of a department with a high professional level, and a house that has many wishes and ideas in the digital field. We will of course ensure that you are well introduced to all tasks, and in the department we place great emphasis on collaborating with each other, and there is always room to ask questions. We are very engaged in our work and are focused on delivering good products and results in a team, even when we are busy.

You will have a daily life with good opportunities to influence and plan your work and working hours yourself. You join an organization that is development-oriented – also digitally – and that will make a difference in the service of the good cause. The position is about 15 hours per week distributed over 2-3 days. Of course, consideration is given to exam periods, etc.

The position is a student job with start as soon as possible. You will report to the head of IT & Digital Development, where we are a total of 15 colleagues with different backgrounds and areas of responsibility, but a common commitment to supporting the best possible user experience.

The workplace is located at Ældre Sagen's secretariat in Snorresgade on Islands Brygge in Copenhagen.
