Questions and answers
- How many hours can I work while receiving SU?
- There is no limit on hours, but there is an earnings allowance (fribeløb) before your SU is reduced. It depends on your situation and changes every year, so check your own limit on minSU.dk.
- What does a student job pay?
- Pay depends on the job and whether a collective agreement applies. Student jobs within your field often pay more than unskilled jobs. See the pay level for the role in our salary guide.
- Do I get holiday pay and pension in a student job?
- Yes. You earn holiday pay like other employees, and if you work more than 8 hours a week on average, you are typically covered by the Salaried Employees Act. Pension depends on the collective agreement or contract.
- How do I find a student job in my field?
- Search for your future job title and filter on student jobs. With a profile on Arbejd.com, businesses can also find you when they search for students in your field.
