Department head sought as of 1 January 2027 for Greve Municipality's Temporary 24-hour beds and the upcoming SOP beds from the Region

As of January 1, 2027, 26 of our total 37 places will become part of the forthcoming Health and Care Places under the Region.

Specifically, a horizontal agreement has been reached that Greve Municipality will operate the Regional Health and Care Places for the Region in 2027 and 2028.

On the same site, some of Greve Municipality's own temporary 24-hour placements will also be located.

The management at Hedebo consists of a unit manager and a department manager.

The available position is 35-37 hours per week.

We are looking for a department head who is ambitious on behalf of their employees and the house. A department head who can embrace both the administrative and personnel leadership tasks, thereby contributing to an efficient and stable operation with high professional quality in a time of many changes.

About you

• That you have a health professional education
• That you have relevant leadership training and a minimum of 5 years of leadership experience.
• That you can work in a structured and goal-oriented way, and are good at handling changes
• That you have a broad overview and are good at financial management
• That you have knowledge of the collective agreements, especially in FOA and DSR areas, and have in-depth knowledge and flair for shift scheduling.
• That you have strong communication and relational competences
• That you have a motivating and appreciative leadership style
• That you see cross-disciplinary collaboration as a necessity.
• That you see quality development as a continuous part of an improvement process.

Salary and employment

Expected start 1 January 2027 or after further agreement (with respect to planned holidays).

The position reports to unit manager Christina Giarbini.
