Branch Manager for BOXIT Aalborg C

We are looking for someone who is motivated by many varied tasks and who thrives in a hands-on role with responsibility for the daily leadership of the building. You will be part of a small team where each individual has a strong impact on everyday life. Here at BOXIT, we are a group of dedicated employees who, together, take on all the tasks that multiple business lines bring with them. As the department head for our storage room department in Aalborg C, you will join this community with a variety of tasks in our storage room department.

BOXIT is a Danish-owned group that is a leader within our business areas, where we, with our 14,000 storage rooms, 7,000 containers, and numerous commercial leases, have a strong position in the Danish market. We are looking forward to an exciting future with big growth plans in the coming years.

Our employees are spread across several locations nationwide. Right now we need a new employee in our BOXIT department on Østre Allé in Aalborg.

Varied tasks and responsibilities

We need a department head who is keen to handle tasks spanning broadly, from dispatch and sales to ad hoc tasks in the shop as well as the entire department with the rental of storage rooms and offices.

The following is part of the task palette

• Daily management of our small in-house team.
• Customer service in our shop and by phone.
• Advise customers on the right solution that fits their needs.
• Daily practical tasks in the department, which primarily consist of operations, cleaning, and similar.
• Care for our existing customers.

As the above indicates, your areas of work will be practically oriented and span broadly in relation to the needs that may arise during the workday. You will report to our head of storage rooms, who also works from Aalborg.

Obviously you are an experienced sales assistant with leadership experience who has tried something similar in your career – or you are driven by the desire to learn.

You probably bring the following with you

• Leadership experience from a small team.
• Solid experience in sales.
• Familiarity with using IT, with the eagerness and ability to work in new systems.
• A skilled salesperson who takes pride in delivering good customer service.
• Used to, or willing to, flexible working hours and weekend shifts.
• You work independently and with commitment.
• You have a sense of order and an overview.
• Flair for, and willingness to solve varied practical tasks in a large department with many square meters.
• A car available, as you may be called by the on-call phone in the evenings and weekends – every 2 weeks.

As a person, you place integrity and credibility high. At the same time, you possess a good amount of tidiness, and you can keep an overview when it gets busy. We are looking for a team player who wants to become part of our team.

At BOXIT we rent storage rooms on a self-storage principle to private and business customers at 12 locations in Jutland and Funen. At some of these locations we have office hotels, from which offices are rented to smaller companies. In addition, we rent and sell ship containers to private and business customers. In our group we employ about 90 skilled and well-qualified employees.
