Anesthesia nurses for Operating Area South, OUH - Svendborg

We are seeking you as an anesthesiology nurse as of 01.12.2026 or by agreement, for a permanent position.

As a rule the position is 37 hours per week.

The Operations Area South is led by the Anesthesiology Intensive Care Unit V, which is also responsible for intensive care, preparation and recovery as well as the operating area.

The operating area is divided into two departments in Svendborg and a daily on-call in Nyborg.

At OUH Svendborg we staff daily 17 operating theatres in the following specialties: urology, ear/nose/throat, abdominal surgery, orthopedic surgery, gynecology/obstetrics, plastic reconstructive surgery as well as electroconvulsive therapy and DC conversion.

We work in several specialties with robotic-assisted surgery.

The working hours are 07:30 - 15:30 or until 17:00. The evening on-call shift is from 15:15 - 22:15 in active duty and thereafter on call from the on-call room. The on-call duties must cover all acute functions such as cardiac arrest, medical emergencies, cesarean section, transports, etc.

Over a 12-week period you can expect 2-3 weekends, 4-6 shifts with on-call from the on-call room.

Region Southern Denmark uses a three-month probation period for first-time employment.
