In the Civil Engineering Department at Viborg Engineers, the tasks range broadly from sewer and drainage projects to cross-disciplinary building developments, squares/plazas and paving tasks for both urban spaces and housing developments for both public and private clients, as well as LAR projects and delay projects.

Diverse tasks and a high degree of influence

We prefer that you have a couple of years of experience and knowledge of design, or the desire to develop in that area.

At Viborg Engineers you will experience that you will increase your cross-disciplinary competencies, as these are valued very highly.

You will in the Civil Engineering Department have responsibility for your own tasks, and there will be opportunity to follow the projects from start to finish so that you can be involved from the initial sketches to the design and during execution as construction manager or supervisor.

You will have the opportunity to work with tasks at all scales with varying complexity from small to larger infrastructure projects.

Tasks the department handles, and that you can help solve

• Design of drainage, sewer, LAR and climate adaptation tasks.
• Design of squares, building developments and facilities.
• Review and analysis of project documentation.
• Management of individual projects with a steady hand from startup and planning to handover.
• Communication with colleagues, clients, partners and contractors during execution.
• Supervision and construction management.

You must work independently with a strong department behind you

You have a relevant engineering degree or an equivalent education in the civil engineering field, e.g., as a designer with flair for civil engineering design.

You are eager to broaden your knowledge within the civil engineering field and hold multiple qualifications.

You have experience using CAD tools.

You are engaged, independent, quality-conscious and have good collaboration skills.

You fit well in a department with both young and experienced colleagues. Viborg Engineers is an engineering company in the north and mid-Jutland, currently employing around 75 employees distributed across departments in Viborg and Aalborg.
