Architect Intern

Internship: Architect – start February 2027

Do you want to help create architecture with impact?

In a world that calls for positive change, architecture is more than a frame around our lives – it is an opportunity to change it for the better. At AART we believe that architecture is a crucial driver for creating positive changes in society. Therefore we go to work every day with one shared ambition: To create architecture that makes a real difference for people, organizations, society and nature.

If you share our vision, an internship at AART can give you the opportunity to put it into practice.

At AART you will become part of a broad daily life at our office in Frederikssund. Here you will have the opportunity to test yourself on exciting projects across the Nordic region and gain practical experience with a wide range of tasks.

As an intern you will be part of a team where you get the opportunity to work with concept development, sketching, 3D modeling and model building. If you are interested in design and detailing, we can also shape an internship with this as the primary learning focus.

In all teams there are experienced architects who provide you with ongoing constructive feedback on your work. In addition you will be assigned a fixed mentor who supports both your professional and personal development during the internship. Along the way you will also participate in meetings with partners, internal continuing education activities and social events that provide you with further experience in the field in an academically inspiring and developmental environment.

We hold interviews on an ongoing basis, so the earlier you upload your application, the greater your chances of being considered. We are positive about supporting your internship with a ‘recognition’ if you receive student financial aid. Note that we only accept students for the internship - unfortunately not architects with an already completed master's degree. Please also note that the internship must be credit-bearing in the education.

At AART we warmly welcome you from day one and give you the best opportunities to strengthen your competencies, so you are prepared for your future career as an architect.

We look forward to welcoming you to our office in Frederikssund!
