Are you creative, curious and ready to translate ideas into strong visual solutions? Do you dream of an apprenticeship where you get to work with graphic design, video, digital campaigns and web? Then you may be our new media graphics apprentice.

We are looking for a media graphics apprentice for our Communication and Executive Secretariat, where you will become part of a devoted team that works with branding, marketing and communication across the entire organization.

About the apprenticeship

As a media graphics apprentice with us you will have an exciting and varied everyday life, where you work on real tasks from day one. Your products will be used internally in the organization (e.g. physical signs, info screens, newsletters, wayfinding) and externally in the form of campaigns, printed materials and web. You will become an important part of the team and have the opportunity to learn new things and put your own stamp on the tasks.

You will among other things work with

• graphic design for print and digital platforms
• content and layout for web and CMS (WordPress)
• production and editing of video
• motion graphics and animation
• campaigns for social media
• image processing and content creation
• visual support for events, education and student life
• internal visual communication

We promise you an apprenticeship with many different tasks, high professionalism and room for development.

Who are you?

You are currently in – or have completed – Basic Course 2 as a media designer and are ready for the next step in your education. We also very much welcome if you are further in your education and need an apprenticeship for the final part of your program.

We expect that you

• have a sense for design, form, colors and typography
• are curious about digital media and new trends
• can work independently
• can work from a tight design guide
• want to work with Adobe programs such as InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and preferably Premiere Pro, After Effects etc.
• are structured and able to keep overview of several tasks
• are good at collaborating and contribute positively to the community
• take initiative and are eager to learn
• are ready to join a workplace

The most important thing is not that you can do everything in advance, but that you have the motivation and the will to develop yourself.

Who are we?

The Communications and Executive Secretariat is a central department at Zealand, where we work with internal and external communication, marketing, branding and management support. You will become part of a team of 12, working with a broad portfolio of tasks. The atmosphere is high-spirited, and we place a strong emphasis on collaboration and great professional pride. Here you will have colleagues who are happy to brainstorm, help and share knowledge.
