You will become part of an engaged and well-functioning group of social workers at the Psychiatric Center Glostrup, where we have a strong professional community and close collaboration.

About the position

You will be attached to one of the open 24-hour wards on Nordstjernevej with 20 beds, - and as needed have tasks across the matrikel's other wards and units.

You will be part of the multidisciplinary treatment team, where you work closely with doctors, nursing staff, psychologists, occupational and physical therapists, secretaries, and others.

Nordstjernevej houses acute spine, open and intensive 24-hour wards as well as outpatient units, and you will have a diverse and varied daily life with many collaboration interfaces.

You will become part of a strong professional environment and of a unified group of social workers at the center totaling 35 social workers. In the inpatient wards on Nordstjernevej and Brøndbyøstervej you will be part of a team of 12 social workers in total.

Your role and your tasks

As a social worker you will, in collaboration with your colleagues, play an important role in ensuring quality in coherent interventions for patients who receive benefits in both the health service and in the municipal system.

The Capital Region’s psychiatry has, in collaboration with the municipalities, decided that network meetings are the form of collaboration used in cross-sector collaboration, and you will, in collaboration with the departments, be responsible for holding these meetings.

The Capital Region’s psychiatry has a strong focus on children as relatives, and you will be responsible for referring to family conversations and child courses. You may also become responsible for conducting both family conversations and child courses.

In addition, we work with discharge agreements/coordination plans, which you will participate in preparing in collaboration with the physician. As part of this work, social screenings must be carried out, which you will prepare for all admitted patients.

In case of illness and annual leave there will be tasks across wards and matrikler.

You are a trained social worker, and we imagine that you have experience from psychiatry or from work with vulnerable citizens. In addition, we are looking for you who;

Salary and terms

The position is available as soon as possible.

You will be employed in accordance with the collective agreement for social workers, including the provisions on working hours.

Salary and terms of employment in accordance with the applicable collective agreement entered into between the Danish Association of Social Workers and RLTN with salary placement as a social worker.

Psychiatric Center Glostrup is part of Amager and Hvidovre Hospital.

The Psychiatric Center Glostrup provides a broad range of psychiatric tasks distributed across 5 matrikler. The center includes an open 24-hour psychiatric emergency department and has a total of about 200 beds located on Nordstjernevej and Brøndbyøstervej as well as 16 outpatient clinics spread across 5 matrikler. The Psychiatric Center Glostrup has thus connected three psychiatric outpatient clinics.

In addition, three OPUS teams, an ADHD/autism outpatient clinic, a large psychotherapeutic outpatient clinic and a number of regional and highly specialized functions, including schizophrenia, oligophrenia, geriatric psychiatry, treatment of self-harm patients, ADHD/autism and forensic psychiatry.
