About the position

Patriotisk Selskab is a consulting house with about 90 employees, advising professional agricultural businesses nationwide. In addition to farming and forestry, our customers are involved in rental, renewable energy and experience economy.

As our new accounting assistant you will be part of our Finance Department, which is the largest department in the house. In close cooperation with your colleagues you will deliver accounts for some of the country’s most professional farms.

Your primary tasks will be

• Controlling and collecting information from customers
• Tax accounts and budgets
• Annual reports

You will solve the tasks in close collaboration with the client-responsible advisor and your other colleagues. There is always someone to spar with, and it is important to us that you feel well prepared for the tasks.

You will also have a daily life with great freedom and flexibility, so there is room for a life outside of work.

About you

You have experience with accounting tasks from a similar position and a relevant educational background.

For example, this could be an academy education in accounting or economics, or perhaps you are pursuing an HD(R). It could also be that you are educated agrarian economist, finance bachelor, finance economist or agricultural technologist with a specialization as agro business economist. The most important thing is that you have a solid professional foundation – the rest you can learn from your new colleagues.

In addition, we expect that you

• Work in a structured way and have a sense for details
• Thrive with customer contact and good service
• Have a flair for IT and interest in digital solutions, as we continuously optimize our workflows
• Are curious and interested in both the customers, their businesses and the context in which your tasks fit
• Can work independently and take responsibility for your tasks

You do not need to have knowledge of farming beforehand, but you should be keen to learn more about our customers and their businesses.
