Assembler sought for assembly and packaging of technical equipment in Skanderborg

JKS Tech & Metal on behalf of a company in Skanderborg is seeking an assembler with technical understanding who thrives on assembling complex units and working with both assembly and warehouse tasks.

About the job

You will become part of a production where you work with the assembly of a technical unit consisting of around 550 different parts. The job requires precision and meticulousness, as the components must be assembled correctly and the quality must be correct all the way through.

Your tasks will include among other things

• Assembly of technical units consisting of many different components.
• Assembling mechanical parts, sensors, seals and O-rings.
• Bonding and mounting with bolts, screws and other mechanical solutions.
• Receiving and inspecting components.
• Handling and organizing parts for the assembly.
• Unpacking and preparing finished units for shipping.

You follow the unit through the entire process from receipt to finished packaging. You will work with the same type of unit on a daily basis, but the actual assembly is technically demanding and requires concentration and attention to detail. The unit you will work with is about one meter in diameter, so the work mainly revolves around precision.

About you

You preferably have a practical or technical background and experience with assembling, repairing or mounting mechanical components. This could be as a mechanic, agricultural mechanic, assembler or from another technical industry. It is an advantage if you have a forklift license.
