About the job

Do you work best when the inbox is under control, the agreements are in place, and someone remembers to follow up? Then you might be the one we are looking for. We are seeking an administrative employee who can keep track of the many threads and has enough go‑get attitude to nudge others when something needs to move forward.

In short: A helpful and independent colleague who spots what is missing – and does something about it.

About us

The Air & Space Division is one of four capability areas (Land, Maritime, Air and IT) in the Danish Defence Acquisition and Procurement Agency.

The division is currently undergoing ongoing development and expansion in step with the increasing need to handle the defence and security policy developments in Denmark and the surrounding area.

The Capacity and Operations Department handles cross‑cutting planning and follow‑up in the Air & Space Division. We are 12 staff members, both military and civilian, who work closely together to solve the task.

About the position

As an administrative employee in the Capacity and Operations Department you will be a central part of the daily administrative engine. You will among other things be responsible for:

  • Keep track of a manager's incoming tasks in Outlook and follow up when something needs to be started or answered.
  • Plan and book meetings, travel, seminars, events and guest visits and be the one to make the ends meet
  • Be the contact point to, among others, the IT department and the Establishment and Terrain Command, follow up on deliveries and help managers and staff with big and small things.
  • Retrieve mail and handle administrative ad hoc tasks
  • Ensure that meeting rooms, printer rooms and kitchens in KALU function and appear as they should.

You will have a versatile daily life with lots of contact with the organization, independent responsibility and the opportunity to grow with the tasks.

About you

We imagine that you have an office education and flair for Outlook and Office.

  • You communicate confidently in Danish and work systematically and carefully.
  • You have drive, independence and poise – you dare to follow up, ask questions and remind others of what they have promised.
  • You are helpful, have a pronounced sense of order and can both keep an overview and spot when there is a need for an extra hand.

If you can keep a cool head, keep the overview warm and set a friendly but determined course when something needs to happen, we would love to hear from you.

Employment terms

The employment is in accordance with the current Collective Agreement between the Ministry of Finance and Public Employees’ Organizations – The State Sector (OAO-S collective agreement) and the Organizational Agreement for office clerks, laboratory technicians and IT employees (HK) in the state.

Depending on your qualifications and competences, there is a possibility for negotiation of additional pay. There is an employer‑financed pension scheme attached to the position.

The workplace is in Ballerup.

As an employee under the Ministry of Defence's area you are subject to certain special conditions. You must, among other things, be security cleared and maintain the security clearance throughout the employment.

You are obliged to perform service outside the country’s borders, including units in international operations with a view to participating in conflict prevention, peacekeeping, peace‑enforcing, humanitarian and other similar operations.

Contact and application

If you want to know more about the position, you are welcome to contact Lieutenant Colonel Lars Stokholm at telephone 5376 7727.

If you have questions about salary and employment terms, you are welcome to contact the Personnel Command, HR consultant Emilia Kyhn Sixhøi at telephone 5171 1535.

The application deadline is 30 October 2026. The start date is as soon as possible thereafter.

You apply for the position via the link in the advertisement. Please attach a cover letter, CV and proof of education. Note that attachments can only be uploaded in PDF format.

About the Danish Defence Acquisition and Procurement Agency

The Danish Defence Acquisition and Procurement Agency (FMI) is Denmark's central authority for the armed forces’ and emergency services’ materiel, IT and cyber security in peace, crisis and war. We work to ensure that the total defence is equipped, updated and operational — in a time when the demands on speed and combat power have never been greater. It is us who procure, operate and dispose of materiel and IT for the Army, Navy, Air Force and the rest of the Ministry of Defence's group.

It is our IT employees who daily help avert the cyber-attacks the group is subjected to. We are a diverse organization with about 2,500 employees — civilian and military — across the Kingdom.
