About the job
The Adult Special Unit Kalundborg is seeking our upcoming professional coordinator for the day area – there is also a coordinator for the night area. The work consists of 25% coordinator function and 75% case processing.
This is a newly established position, offered in connection with the reorganization of the Adult Special Unit.
Why are we creating the coordinator functions?
At the Adult Special Unit we prioritize investing in professional quality.
Our skilled teams work daily to create the best solutions for adult citizens with functional limitations of social, psychological or physical nature. We believe that high professional quality is created through innovation, strong professional communities and employee well-being.
…but we face a challenge
The specialized authority work is becoming increasingly complex.
Citizen pathways require close coordination, legislation is evolving, and the need for professional sparring is greater than ever.
As a coordinator you will help to
- strengthen professional quality and consistent authority practice
- create quick access to professional sparring and support daily coordination
- contribute to the development of new working methods
- create better coherence between operations, development and leadership.
- Our vision is to create the best possible framework for both employees and citizens.
About us in the Adult Special Unit
The Adult Special Unit is the authority in the specialized adult social area.
We work with eligibility, follow-up and coordination of interventions under the Social Services Act and focus on high quality, holistic solutions and close collaboration with citizens, relatives and partners.
With us you become part of a professionally strong environment where we help each other, share knowledge and develop together. We believe that the best solutions are created in- and through collaboration.
About the coordinator function
You will become a central collaboration partner for both colleagues and management and contribute to translating professional ambitions and decisions into a well-functioning everyday life. At the same time you help develop the authority area through knowledge sharing, coordination and close collaboration across the organization.
As a professional coordinator you will be a visible and accessible professional sparring partner in everyday life. You support your colleagues, contribute to daily coordination and help ensure high quality and cohesion in the authority work.
You will continue to have your own authority cases and combine them with the role as a professional coordinator. About 25% of your working time is spent on coordination, professional sparring and development, while the remaining 75% is used for authority work within your professional area.
You become the professional key person in the authority area for citizens who live in their own home.
The area includes among other things eligibility and follow-up regarding
- social-pedagogical support in own home (including housing communities) – Social Services Act § 85
- specialized social-pedagogical support for homeless people - Social Services Act § 85a
- crisis centers and care homes – Social Services Act §§ 109 and 110
- compensation allowance – Social Services Act § 100
- day- and night-time services – Social Services Act §§ 103 and 104.
Your tasks
You will among other things
- provide daily professional sparring and assist with complex cases
- support high quality and consistent practice; including supporting the implementation of new working methods and strengthening internal and cross-organizational collaboration
- create an overview of the team’s tasks, follow up on common agreements and deadlines and coordinate tasks during illness and absence
- identify needs for competence development.
In short, you will thus become a valuable key player in contributing to the continued development of the authority area.
We imagine that
- You are educated as a social worker or have another relevant social science education.
- You have experience with authority work in the specialized adult social area and are motivated by developing both professionalism and collaboration.
We also place emphasis on you
- being professionally well-founded, working structurally and systematically
- being able to maintain an overview in complex cases
- communicating clearly and respectfully
- being appreciative and trust-building and having strong collaboration skills
- being motivated to help others succeed and contribute positively to the work environment.
We offer
a newly established key function with great professional influence
a strong professional community and engaged and helpful colleagues
close collaboration with management
a high degree of autonomy and good opportunities for professional development
a workplace characterized by trust, integrity and high ambitions.
With us you get more than a new function. You get the opportunity to make your mark on the development of the authority area.
Are you our new professional coordinator?
If you are passionate about authority work, motivated to develop professionalism and want to make a difference – for both citizens and your colleagues – we look forward to hearing from you.
Together we develop the authority work of the future.
Salary and employment terms
The positions are 37 hours per week.
Employment is in accordance with the applicable collective agreement.
The salary is in the range of 38,000 – 43,000 per month and is agreed based on your experience and your competencies within the framework of the collective agreement. Pension and other terms follow the collective agreement.
