Automation Engineer

Job Description

Syntegon Technology A/S is looking for an experienced PLC and/or HMI programmer / Automation Engineer with solid professional expertise and strong commitment, with the possibility of rapid onboarding.

You will become a central part of a competent and well-established team consisting of approximately 30 employees.

In the role as Automation Engineer you will be responsible for PLC and /or HMI programming for advanced special machines through all project phases – from concept development and programming to installation, commissioning, FAT, SAT and finally delivery. Projects typically vary between 6 and 15 months depending on complexity.

Travel activities in both Denmark and abroad are required.

You will define, develop and design software for both standard and special machines, primarily for the pharma- and medtech-industry. At Syntegon Technology A/S we always work with the latest technologies and prioritize high quality in all solutions.

Qualifications

• You come with a background as an Engineer, Mechanical Engineer or equivalent and preferably experience from the pharma/medtech industry
• +5 years of experience programming automation solutions
• You have hands-on experience with Rockwell and/or Siemens as well as HMI/SCADA solutions
• You have experience in development, design and standardization of software solutions for complex fully automated high-tech production lines
• It is a plus if you have knowledge of PackML
• You are passionate about automation and programming
• You have a strong desire to learn and to develop professionally and personally
• You are open to international travel of up to 5 weeks per year
• You master Danish and English written and spoken
