Maternity-leave substitute for a pedagogue in a special class at Ellevangskolen

About the job

Ellevangskolen is seeking a maternity leave replacement for a pedagogue in a special class for students with general learning difficulties. Start as soon as possible. This concerns a 6th-7th grade class.

You will join our special class team, which consists of teachers and pedagogues. Here you shall, in close cooperation with the other staff in the team, undertake social-pedagogical tasks, parent cooperation and support in teaching. You will be the consistent staff member in the class throughout the day.

Your profile

We expect that you

• Have professional experience within the field of special education.
• Have up-to-date experience working in a special class or special school.
• Are team-oriented – but also independent and respectful of the team’s agreements and rules.
• Have professional ambitions – and the competence to translate them into learning and knowledge for the students.
• Are collaborative – and see this as a condition for a good and trustworthy working environment and school/home cooperation.
• Have courage and willingness to make your own practice visible in close collaboration with colleagues and management, as well as work with stronger learning communities.

Salary and employment terms

Salary and employment terms will be in accordance with the applicable collective agreement. Final salary setting takes place after negotiation with the authorized trade organization based on qualifications.

Weekly working hours: 37 hours.
