Maternity-leave substitute for SFO and school as an educator or pedagogical assistant at Møllebakkeskolen

The SFO of Møllebakkeskolen is seeking a pedagog or pedagogical assistant for 25 hours per week, no later than January 1, 2027 and extending until March 31, 2027, who wishes to be part of both the school's and the SFO's everyday life

Møllebakkeskolen is a smaller public school in Guldborgsund Municipality, which historically is an old central school - originally a village school for the catchment area that today forms Falster's Heart. We are located in Horreby, about 10 km from Nykøbing, with good accessibility by public transport. In everyday life we host about 210 pupils across grades 0-9 in general education, of which about 115 are linked to the school's SFO.

In addition, Møllebakkeskolen also houses Møllehuset, which is a school treatment offer for pupils in 0-9. On a daily basis we have more than 40 staff and leaders who ensure the best possible fulfilment of our shared core task.

At Møllebakkeskolen there is focus on the values community, strength and curiosity, which form the basis for how we think about school and how we are together – both in encounters with our pupils, parents and each other. Around the school there is a diverse natural setting with plenty of opportunities for involvement in daily life. We place a high value on collegial presence and close sparring as a natural part of daily life in a professional community and collaboration. Everyday life bears marks of openness, community and engagement on behalf of the pupils and our own.

Our pedagogical work rests on a clear pedagogical foundation with focus on classroom management, relationship building and good didactics. We work closely in teams and have a particularly strong focus on creating as much psychological safety as possible for all staff.

The school has an active board, which shows commitment and courage to challenge the school's boundaries and ambitions.

Key tasks of the position

We need an employee who is passionate about the pedagogical work and who will help continually strengthen the quality in the SFO and the school. You must be able to participate as the 2nd adult in the teaching around our 1st grade together with the teaching team and you must be able to handle pedagogical activities in the afternoons in the SFO.

You also need to contribute to further developing the pedagogical practice in the SFO – and in collaboration with the other staff in the SFO – help create a safe, inspiring and versatile leisure-time offer for the children of Møllebakkeskolens.

You must be able to work independently. You have a good overview, are proactive and can work across all child groups in the house. You thrive in a sometimes busy daily life.
