About the job

We are looking for engaged students from the nursing program to our student ambassador corps at Copenhagen University College of Professional Studies (KP). As a student ambassador you will be an important part of our work with bridging to high schools and VUCs – and you also get a unique opportunity to strengthen your communication skills and represent your education.

About the job

As a student ambassador you shall

  • Give presentations at high schools, e.g. at career days or education days, where you tell about your program and student life at KP
  • Facilitate visits to KP for high school classes together with a fellow student or instructors from your program, where the students get a taste of the academic focus in the nursing education.

You primarily represent your own program, but also KP as a whole. You will usually give presentations together with a fellow student – either from your own program or from another KP program.

You will receive a thorough introduction to the role via an online course, an introduction workshop and ongoing sparring before we send you out to give presentations and facilitate visits. We also have a well-functioning presentation format ready that you should base yourself on.

What do we offer?

  • Experience with communication and facilitation, which strengthens your professional profile
  • A new angle on your own education and a new academic community with fellow students from KP
  • Flexible tasks during daytime hours – typically a few days per month (depending on the schools’ needs)

What do we expect from you?

  • You are a student in the nursing program at KP, and have completed at least the second semester
  • You are eager to be “on” and communicate your education with energy and engagement
  • You are professionally grounded and have a positive attitude toward your education
  • You can inspire high school students and give them a realistic and exciting insight into student life

Salary and employment terms

You will be employed as a student ambassador (student assistant) starting December 1, 2026. Working hours vary. We cannot guarantee a fixed number of hours per month, as the tasks depend on the inquiries we receive from high schools. During the high schools’ holiday and exam periods there are rarely any tasks.

Your employment is governed by the Organizational Agreement for HK/Stat. The hourly wage is 142.98 DKK per hour (student assistant rate).

It is a condition that you are a student active in a higher education program throughout the employment.

The workplace is located at Tagensvej 86, 2200 Copenhagen N, with tasks at relevant high schools and VUC.
