Become head of Special Engagements, Partners and Private in a member-owned Nykredit group

Do you want to take responsibility for a specialized area in Nykredit, where high professionalism, responsible customer handling and good collaboration go hand in hand? We are seeking a leader for Special Engagements Partners and Private, where you will play a central role in working with distressed private clients in both Nykredit and Totalkredit.

As a leader you will become part of Credit and have responsibility for setting direction, developing employees and ensuring stable operations in an area of great importance for customers, partners and the business.

A leadership role with responsibility and influence

The role requires that you can create an overview in complex cases while staying close to people, professionalism and operations. You will become an important sparring partner for the employees and will be responsible for translating strategic priorities into clear frameworks, explicit priorities and concrete actions in everyday life. You succeed by setting clear direction, creating buy-in and developing both people, collaboration and processes – while ensuring high well-being, ongoing dialogue and tasks solved with high quality and integrity.

Your key responsibilities will be

• Lead and develop employees with solid specialized knowledge within the distressed area.
• Create clear prioritization, high quality and stable progress in the department's tasks and case handling.
• Develop workflows and contribute to more uniform, efficient and robust processes.
• Improve collaboration with advisors, credit functions, legal specialists, Totalkredit, partner banks and other partners.
• Create presence and coherent leadership for employees across Taastrup and Aalborg.
• Follow up on goals, management information and results with focus on quality, operations, well-being and development.

Is this you we are looking for?

We imagine that you have leadership experience and experience from the distressed area. You have worked concretely with cases of mismanagement, arrears, loss limitation, credit follow-up or other complex customer and case processes, and you can translate your professional knowledge into leadership, prioritization and quality in everyday life. You must be able to step into the role with a solid understanding of the customer situation, credit risk, regulatory requirements and the business considerations that shape the area.

In addition, we emphasize that you

• have experience with personnel leadership, professional leadership or leadership of specialized teams,
• are a leader with clear direction, trust and presence and have experience in creating buy-in, well-being and development through ongoing dialogue, feedback and sparring,
• can prioritize and make decisions in complex cases based on facts, risk, law, business considerations and the customer's situation,
• have experience with cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders, e.g. advisors, credit, law, Totalkredit, partner banks and external partners,
• can translate goals, management information and key figures into concrete priorities, follow-up and improvements in operations,
• have experience with developing employees, workflows or professional standards so that quality and consistency are improved,
• communicate clearly and precisely with employees, management and partners – even when messages are complex or sensitive.

Your new team

You will become part of Credit and take responsibility for a department with 9 employees handling distressed private customers in both Nykredit and Totalkredit. For Totalkredit customers the work is carried out in close collaboration with partner banks, where good relations, clear boundaries and joint solutions are essential. The employees are distributed between Taastrup and Aalborg, and your fixed office could be at one of the two locations. You will therefore play an important role in creating presence, a shared direction and close collaboration across geography and professional competences.
