As a day care provider in Årre/Fåborg, you become an everyday hero for a group of four lovely children aged 6 months to 3 years. You weave work life and family life together in your own familiar surroundings, and you become part of a strong collegial community among the town’s day care providers, who meet about once a week.

You will have all necessary tools for a learning and fun everyday life at your disposal, including a pram, toys, high chairs, etc. You collaborate professionally closely with your engaged day care educator on the children’s learning and well-being.

• You have First Aid training at hiring or commit to taking it within the first year – the day care pays for the course and you provide the time.

We offer

• An attractive monthly salary, of which 60% is tax-free – you must cover the costs of the children’s meals yourself.
• The working hours are 48 hours per week in your own home - you accrue 7 days per year for time off in addition to vacation and the 6th vacation week.
• You start at salary grade 20. As a trained pedagogue or PAU at salary grade 25, you move up 2 pay grades after 4 years of employment and a further 1 pay grade after 6 years of employment.

The advantage of being a day care provider is certainly that I can structure my everyday life myself, while also being able to supplement with the collegial side of the day care group here in the town, where we meet for example in a playroom or outside on playgrounds. It’s super fun for the children and for us day care providers to meet and be together all day.
