You will become an important professional sparring partner for the hospital's departments, where you help solve both acute registration challenges and design new registration solutions. Your tasks include:

  • Quality assurance: Contribute to the quality of data and registration in Clinical Databases. Systematic support for review and follow-up on error lists in collaboration with the departments.
  • Process optimization: Ensure coherence between booking, referrals and documentation and support the work with health professional content (SFI).
  • Data dissemination: Collect and transform complex data into easily understandable overviews and presentations for hospital management.
  • Data collaboration : Act as professional link to the region's BI unit when there is a need to extract specific data sets, and contribute to translating clinical needs into technical data queries.
  • Development: Proactively concretize e.g. automations and SFI's into clinical databases and according to clinical demand. Prepare guidelines and drive training that raises the administrative and clinical level for correct registration and data quality across the house.

We place particular emphasis on the following

  • Have a strong professional foundation within registration rules and patient administrative workflows.
  • Are familiar with NordEPJ and have understanding of the technical systems (including also Medcom and municipal systems).
  • Possess a methodical approach to data quality and thrive with systematically working with error tracing and corrections
  • Are a strong communicator who can translate complex rules into easily understandable guidance for both administrative and clinical colleagues.
  • Are proactive, think creatively at the intersection of requirements and clinical daily life, so new digital solutions are developed.
  • Are thorough, detail-oriented and thrive in a role that requires dialogue and collaboration across professions and organizational levels

What do we offer?

As an employee with us you become part of a specialized and interdisciplinary quality office, where we work closely together on the hospital's core tasks.

  • Influence: You have the opportunity to shape registration practices and help optimize workflows that affect the entire hospital and the region
  • Professionalism: A central specialist function with many contact points and opportunities for ongoing competence development.
  • A strong collegial environment: We in the Office of Quality, Patient Safety and Occupational Health have high professionalism, curiosity and well-being with the iTOP values shared with our colleagues in the administration of two other offices: Planning and Finance as well as The Nære Health and Digitalization.
  • Variation: A daily life that alternates between operations, advice, teaching and development projects.
