Quality Technician

We are seeking for a newly created position yet another quality technician for our QHSE department, where you will become part of a quality technician team of 3 colleagues.

The position

Our quality technicians prevent defects, handle non-conformities and drive continuous improvements together with production, technical departments and subcontractors. Your personal qualifications are broad. You are structured, thorough, analytical and solution-oriented. You are clear in your communication and have a good ability to collaborate across functions. You think independently and are skilled at prioritizing.

Opgaver

Measurement, inspection and release

• Perform zero-series control, process inspection, inbound and final inspection according to the control plan
• Assess typical defect types for aluminum parts based on technical specifications

Nonconformities and complaints

• Register and handle internal deviations and customer returns
• Participate in root cause analyses such as 5x why, fishbone and 8D reports
• Ensure that corrective actions are implemented and their effectiveness verified

Ongoing improvements

• Participate in the development of control plans and start-up of new items and tools
• Train operators in quality requirements, measurement and defect recognition

Your profile

• Technical background, e.g. production technology, mechanical technician or skilled trades
• 2+ years of experience with quality work in metal or manufacturing industry, preferably foundry or CNC machining
• Experience with working in an ISO 9001 certified company
• Familiar with problem-solving tools such as 8D and 5x why
• Proficient IT user, preferably experience with QHSE systems
• You master Danish and English in writing and speaking
