About the job

Do you have the drive and courage to take on the biochemistry specialty, and are we currently seeking a bioanalyst for a maternity leave replacement in the Multi 2 section.

We offer

A department that places great emphasis on responsibility, security and a good working environment. We want the good collaboration and place emphasis on an informal tone and a positive approach to work, which transmits to colleagues and patients.

We help each other in everyday life and prioritize that new colleagues quickly become part of the community. You will be greeted by one of our mentors, who will welcome you and continuously follow up until you feel secure both socially and professionally in the department.

Duties

You will become part of a dedicated team of 23 bioanalysts, all of whom rotate between laboratory tasks and pre-analytical tasks at both the clinical departments and in the sampling units.

In the laboratory, analyses primarily include hormones, vitamins and tumor markers. A large part of the analyses support both the department's and the hospital's highly specialized functions, e.g. within paraproteinemia/M-component, vitamin B12, adrenal diseases as well as disturbances in sex hormones and copper metabolism. The section has access to several LC/MS instruments and also conducts, among other things, immunochemical analyses and capillary electrophoresis. The laboratory work is diverse, as some analyses are high-frequency and relatively automated, while others require more manual handling.

We divide the blood sampling task in the northern part of the hospital in collaboration with three other sections – both during the day on weekdays as well as in shifts around the clock every day of the year.

ACUTE department and Psychiatry are among the departments located in this area, and you will therefore be part of the team that covers blood sampling for these patient groups. Part of this work involves a high degree of collaboration with the rest of the clinical staff at the hospital.

The appointment period for the vacancy is from 1 December 2026 to 31 October 2027.
