About the job
Would you like to try something new, use your professional skills in other settings and gain experiences you can take with you in life?
Then a temporary position at the Central Laboratory at Queen Ingrids Hospital, in Nuuk, could be for you.
We are seeking bioanalysts for short and longer temporary contracts, minimum three months duration, where you get the opportunity to combine an exciting professional workload with a life in Greenland's capital.
Whether you are an experienced bioanalyst wanting a break from the familiar or a recent graduate curious about new opportunities, we would love to hear from you.
With us you become part of a laboratory with many different functions and an important role in Greenland's healthcare system.
And even if you perhaps only stay with us for a limited period of at least three months, we want you to feel like part of the team.
For us a temporary worker is not just an extra hand. You are a new colleague whom we look forward to getting to know.
A professional everyday life with room for new experiences
As a bioanalyst with us you will have the opportunity to work with various laboratory tasks, use your competencies and gain insight into Greenland's healthcare system.
We offer
- Introduction and training tailored to your experience and competencies.
- A versatile and independent job with professional challenges.
- Committed colleagues and close cooperation on daily tasks.
- Opportunity to use and develop your professional competencies.
- A workplace where we want everyone – including our temporary workers – to feel welcome and included.
We know that it can be a big decision to travel far from your familiar surroundings. Therefore we emphasize that you receive a good introduction and know who you can approach with questions.
Whom are we looking for?

- Would preferably have experience with clinical chemistry, but recent graduates are also very welcome.
- Want to work broadly and learn new tasks.
- Is responsible, independent and quality-conscious.
- Has good teamwork skills and contributes positively to the community.
- Is flexible and has the courage for a workday where tasks may vary.
We base our approach on your competencies and help you settle into the laboratory's workflows.

Experience Greenland – not only as a tourist, but as part of everyday life
A temporary position in Nuuk gives you something quite special: the opportunity to experience Greenland from within.
Here you can go to work, get to know new colleagues and at the same time use your spare time to explore a part of the world that many only dream of visiting.
Nuuk offers a lively city life with cafés, restaurants, culture and leisure activities. And just outside the city, mountains, fjords and a nature that changes with the seasons await.
Maybe you dream of seeing the Northern Lights, sailing on the fjord, hiking in the mountains or simply feeling how everyday life feels in a place completely different from home.
