We are looking for a smith in Kolding for assembly, fitting and machining.

You will land in a larger smithy and machine factory, where the work is about trade and industry. The team makes both individual parts, prototypes and series, so tasks can shift from specialty items to more repetitive deliveries. The materials are mainly stainless steel, iron and aluminum. Here there is room for both independent work and tasks where several professionals need to fit things together.

The role suits you if you like to use your hands and your head at the same time. You move between pre-processing, machining, assembly and fitting, and you get freedom with responsibility in how you solve your tasks. It’s a job for a smith who can get started and speak up if something doesn’t add up.

What you get Salary: 180-210 DKK per hour

Work area: Kolding and surroundings

Colleagues: About 35 employees

Union: Employed under the applicable collective agreement

Employment: Permanent employment - we are looking for people we can work with for many years. No short programs.

Everyday: Machining, assembly and construction

Your everyday The tasks can be complete solutions or parts of a larger delivery. You work from pre-processing and machining through to assembly or fitting, depending on what is ready. When the item requires more hands, you take it together with the team.

You will, among other things, work with

• Pre-processes and machines metal workpieces
• Works with hydraulics and machine assembly
• Manufactures and assembles constructions
• Makes specialty parts in stainless steel, iron and aluminum
• Works with both single pieces, prototypes and series

Freedom with responsibility here means you have room to solve the task properly. In return, you are expected to take responsibility for the details and speak clearly if something needs clarifying.
