About Bjørnemosen

Bjørnemosen is a residential service under Odense Municipality, where 27 adult residents with congenital brain injury and significant physical and mental impairments live in their own apartments. Our common goal is to support the citizens' possibilities for as much independence, quality of life and participation in their own lives as possible.

We work from a rehabilitative approach based on neuropedagogy and KRAP. The citizens' wishes, resources and development potential are always the starting point for our efforts.

Your tasks

As a social work professional you will be an important part of the citizens' daily life and development. Your tasks will include:

• Support the citizens practically, socially and in self-care
• Plan and implement pedagogical and rehabilitative interventions.
• Support citizens' self-determination, well-being and quality of life.
• Active participation in interdisciplinary collaboration with colleagues, relatives and relevant partners.
• Document and follow up on interventions in Nexus.
• Contribute to professional reflection, knowledge sharing and development of practice.
• Contribute to creating structure, safety and meaningful activities in the citizens' daily lives.

We are looking for someone who

• Is educated as a pedagogue or occupational therapist.
• Is resilient in complex client relationships.
• Has experience with or interest in the client group, neuropedagogy, rehabilitation and KRAP.
• Can work in a structured, independent way while actively participating in a strong team collaboration.
• Meets people with respect, curiosity and acknowledgment.
• Has good communication and written skills.
• Can maintain overview and professional composure in complex situations.
• Sees documentation as an important professional tool.

Employment terms

The position is full-time with rotating day, evening and weekend work every 2nd weekend, as well as occasional on-call shifts.

Salary and employment terms are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement and the principles of local pay formation.
