Create a safe framework for the children and yourself

As a day care provider in Varde you become a everyday hero for a group of four lovely children aged 6 months to 3 years. You weave work life and family life together in your own familiar surroundings, and you become part of a strong collegial community among the city’s day care providers, who meet about once a week.

You will be provided with all necessary tools for a learning and fun everyday life, including a pram, toys, high chairs, etc. You collaborate closely with your engaged day care pedagogue on the children’s learning and well-being.

• You provide presence and care, create security and warm home-like surroundings for the children.
• You can immerse yourself and accommodate differences in the children’s personalities and development.
• You recognize the value of self-reflection to strengthen the relationship and interaction with the children.

• Your home is well furnished so everyday life becomes happy days, both outdoors and indoors.
• You have first aid course upon hire or commit to taking it within the first year – the day care pays for the course and you give the time.

We offer

• An attractive monthly salary, of which 60% is tax-free – you must cover the costs of the children’s meals yourself.
• Working hours are 48 hours per week in your own home - you accrue 7 days of time off per year in addition to vacation and the 6th vacation week.
• You start at pay grade 20. As a trained pedagogue or PAU at pay grade 25, you advance 2 pay grades after 4 years of employment and a further 1 pay grade after 6 years of employment.
