About the job You will become part of a Kindergarten group with 22 children, and you will have 3 close colleagues. They look forward to creating safe, manageable and developmentally enriching learning environments together with you. All activities are done across and with a colleague, so all children can participate and thrive.

You will receive a thorough and attentive introduction program in the house, where you together with a colleague or leader learn everything worth knowing about both our pedagogical practice, workflows and culture. The introduction is planned so you have time to land and become comfortable in the role – supported by stable and engaged colleagues.

You will among other things be introduced to the pedagogical practice called NEST. These are principles that support children's social interaction, contact, communication and self-regulation through structure and organization. The goal is to create calm, stable and immersive communities where all children can belong and develop.

At Bistrup Have you will always work in small groups, with good time for relationships, presence and professionalism. We see children as competent individuals who can join communities when they have the right framework. Therefore we work with open classrooms, clear play environments, pictograms and visual structures that create clarity and security for everyone.

About Børnehuset Bistrup Have Bistrup Have is a lovely kindergarten with 3 toddler groups and 3 kindergarten groups, of which one will become a NEST group in 2027. We are located in a scenic area, which we actively use for both calm, immersion and exploration.

We work from a common pedagogical basis, where child view, play, learning, communities and safe learning environments are the focus. We believe that children do well when they can – and that it is our task to create frameworks that make this possible.

We have open rooms and play environments that give children the opportunity to follow interests and relationships across the house. A secure attachment is an important part of our practice, and we work consciously with transitions, changes and the child’s pace.

Outdoor life occupies a lot for us, and the playground is divided into different learning environments so all children can find a place that matches their interests and needs.

In kindergarten Bistrup Have you as an assistant have good conditions to succeed with the core task. We prioritize time for pedagogical activities and immersion together with the children. We always work in small groups that suit both children and adults, and the groups are across the rooms, so we know each other’s children well.

The house works with pictograms and has a visible structure via boards. We are part of the Høsterkøb Area, which has a wonderful nature house in the forest with an accompanying nature guide, whom we often visit.

Education is a matter of course - not a luxury We prioritize developing the competencies of all our teachers and teacher assistants.
