Børnehuset Bøgely seeks a pedagogical assistant for a kindergarten group

Bøgely is a children's house with 3 toddler groups and 3 preschool groups. We are looking for a pedagogical assistant for one of our kindergarten groups.

We are seeking a colleague who will use the position with us as a springboard to train to become a pedagogue.

We work with the child at the center; we see the world from the child’s perspective. It is important for daily life to make sense for the children and for the child to feel understood and acknowledged. We create the framework for good play, both by facilitating play and initiating play, just as we cultivate play relationships and guide from the sideline.

At Bøgely we place great emphasis on being a unit and prioritise doing joint activities across rooms and ages. We have various traditions during the year, which also help strengthen the good community at Bøgely, for children, parents and staff.

The forest is our natural friend in everyday life; we have direct access to Hareskoven. We cultivate outdoor life in the forest and on the playground, and we do it year-round.

The staff group is a wonderful mix of both young and a little older. Some have worked at Bøgely for over 25 years, others have just joined. We have high staff morale and low absenteeism. We hold staff meetings once a month, which run from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Our opening hours are Monday to Thursday from 7:00 to 17:00, Friday from 7:00 to 16:30. Our new colleague will have duties with both opening and closing times. From May 1, our opening hours are 7:00 – 16:30 every day. We are closed for summer holidays in weeks 29 and 30.

Send us a written application in which you present yourself and explain why it is exactly Bøgely you choose to send your application to.

Application deadline 18 October 2026.

Applications are sent digitally and must include a CV.

Employment from 1 November or as soon as possible thereafter.

Bøgely is located at Ravnehusvej 20, Hareskovby, 3500 Værløse.
