Børnehuset Midgård is seeking a maternity leave substitute as of January 1, 2027

In the nursery, one of our pedagogues is going on parental leave, and therefore we are seeking a trained pedagogue or a trained pedagogical assistant as a maternity substitute. At Midgård, everyone is employed full-time, therefore this position is also 37 hours per week. Sufficient time is set aside for other work, including meeting activities without responsibility for children, and we like to spend the time developing our pedagogical practice.

About the house Childcare House Midgård is a sustainable and well-functioning integrated institution located in a nature-rich area by open fields with Tølløse School as a neighbor. We have good bus and train connections nearby.

Our house, built in 2015, is laid out in a snail shape with several entrances, which creates calm and an overview. We have modern facilities with a kitchen and toilet on all rooms as well as good outdoor areas.

The institution houses five kindergarten groups and four nursery groups. Our staffing norm follows the recommendations from BUPL, FOA and KL with a distribution of 63.5% pedagogues and 36.5% assistant pedagogues.

Professionalism and development At Midgård we continuously work to develop our child environment and adjust our practice. In the room meetings we systematically work with children's mosaics from EVA and reflection on our own practice, so we always ensure the children's perspective in our work.

We use methods and tools such as Fri For Mobberi, ICDP, KIDS and Børnemosaikker and receive ongoing professional sparring from our professional beacons. You will always have a fixed pedagogical colleague in the room and good opportunities for professional development.
