The residential care facility at Arendalsvej 280 is seeking a Social Pedagogue (Re-advertisement)

Have you previously worked with residents with long-term disabilities and autism spectrum disorders?

Then we have an exciting and developing role for you.

A 37-hour position with every third weekend and with both day and evening shifts. Start on January 1, 2026.

Your educational background can also be nurse, social and health care assistant, occupational therapist or pedagogical assistant. What matters is that you contribute with your professional expertise in the social-f terapeutic collaboration.

The Arendalsvej Residential Facility consists of a care home and a living community where we collaborate in teams on the professional effort. The position is attached to the team at Arendalsvej 280.

The residential facility at Arendalsvej 280 is for 9 residents with permanent mental and physical disabilities and residents with autism spectrum disorders. The residents' support needs range from full compensation with help with all daily activities to residents with a moderate support need. The facility also has 2 apartments for residents in need of respite care.

The co-living community is for 8 residents with developmental disabilities who to varying degrees need support to develop their physical and mental abilities and support for social interaction.

We work with the individual resident at the center and value professionalism, dignity and engagement, so the residential facility is a good place to live.

We use KRAP as a social-work approach, and focus on giving residents as much influence over their own lives as possible. We support and guide residents regarding ADL, communication, self-care, practical tasks, personal care, treatment and social relationships.

We expect

You are educated as a pedagogue, and in your application we would like to read concrete examples of how:

• You use your professional skills together with people who need support
• You actively and autonomously assess the many tasks in daily life in collaboration with others
• Others would say that you contribute to a good working environment

More practically, we need

• You have experience with residents with special needs
• You have a driving license
• You can work effortlessly with iPad and PC
