Bricklayer for tiling and renovation in Sæby

Are you a bricklayer and would you like tiles, new builds and renovations in your everyday work?

We are looking for a bricklayer in Sæby for permanent employment with orderly conditions.

You will become part of a crafts company where bricklaying goes hand in hand with contracting, drainage and civil works. The tasks are located in Sæby and around Northern Jutland, and the customers range from private to commercial and public projects. This means that you will have the bricklaying part close to other trades, especially when building new, renovating or working with outdoor areas. Here tiles and brickwork must fit into a larger whole, not just be handled as a standalone task.

The role suits you if you want to deliver neat workmanship and can keep track of details. You will have a daily focus on tiles as a fixed area, but also new builds and renovations when the task requires it. A driving license is required because the tasks are spread across different sites.

What you get Salary: 200-220 DKK per hour

Everyday work: Tiles, new builds and renovation

Your daily In tiling tasks you start with the substrate, measurement and the sequence agreed on the site. Some days you handle finishing work, other days bricklaying is part of a new build or renovation where the next trade should be able to access. You must be able to say when something doesn’t add up before it becomes expensive to fix.

You will, among other things, work with

• Lay tiles and ceramic tiles, so slope and finish work
• Work on new builds when bricklayer hands are needed on site
• Tackle renovation tasks where old and new must meet properly
• Perform renovation and repair of brickwork
• Help with plastering and smoothing

When a construction task allows it, materials are planned in again instead of just being discarded. This requires that you work properly from the start and do not hand in anything half-done.

We are looking for you who can tick most boxes You don’t need to be an expert in every corner of the trade. But you must be able to stand behind what you deliver.

We imagine that you

• Have a driving license
• Have practical experience as a bricklayer, preferably at least 2 years
• Can read a task and get started without waiting for five messages
• Show up reliably and keep your appointments
• Say when something doesn’t add up

It helps if you have worked with tiles, new builds or renovations before. But the most important thing is that you enjoy doing work that must look neat when you go home.
