Building painter for large and small projects in Silkeborg

We need a painter in Silkeborg for new builds and renovations.

You will become part of a painting team of about 15 employees, with tasks spanning a wide range. The customers are private, public, and commercial, so you must be able to meet different types of sites appropriately. The work ranges from small painting tasks to larger projects, and there are both new builds and renovations on the calendar. Work with traditional and modern painting, so you will use the trade broadly.

You switch between independent days and tasks with a partner. Freedom with responsibility is part of the setup, so you must be able to make decisions without waiting for anyone all the time. The company car is included, and a driving license is a requirement.

What you get Salary: 170-200 DKK per hour

Your daily routine When a task is started, you clarify the sequence and keep track of what needs to be finished first. In new builds, it is often about following the plan on site, while renovation requires you to assess the substrate and the next steps. You must be able to work neatly, report if something doesn’t add up and have the task closed properly.

You will, among other things, work with

• Painting work on new builds
• Renovation of residential and commercial properties
• Interior and exterior painting of residential and commercial properties
• Facade treatment
• Spackling and priming

The important thing here is that you use the freedom sensibly. You get space to manage your work, but it is also expected that the agreements hold.

We are looking for you who can tick off most of the boxes You don’t need to be an expert in every corner of the trade. But you must stand behind what you deliver.

We imagine that you

• Have at least 4 years of experience as a building painter
• Have a driving license
• Can work independently and take responsibility for your agreements
• Thrive with both new builds and renovations
• Show up reliably and speak up if something is not right

It is advantageous if you have tried both large and small painting tasks. But the most important is that you deliver proper work and can function in a daily life with freedom with responsibility.
