What do we offer in the position?

Trollehøj is a well-functioning nursing home with about 50 competent and engaged employees who every day bustle with commitment for a professional, cross-disciplinary and professional collaboration to create the best home for the residents.

The nursing home consists of 36 care apartments, located in scenic surroundings in the eastern part of Svendborg.

At Trollehøj there is a strong sense of community and a great willingness and desire to solve the tasks.

We have a successful collaboration with volunteers from the local area, which we want to expand.

In the section there is a focus on the employees' competencies in relation to the residents' needs, and there is close collaboration with among others doctors, therapists, dementia consultants, the Authority Department and Assistive Devices & Everyday Technology. We focus on the resident perspective, and place emphasis on supporting residents to live the good life in daily life. Therefore we value a good collaboration with residents and relatives.

Collegially you become part of a well-functioning team with seven managerial colleagues in Care Center East, who work closely together to solve the tasks. In addition, we have a close collaboration with the other managerial colleagues in the elderly care area.

Svendborg Municipality has a visionary leadership policy with a focus on leadership development, both on the individual and organizational level.

In connection with your start, we design an onboarding program tailored to your needs and prerequisites. You will be assigned a mentor and there is continuous sparring with your area manager, whom you report to.

In daily work you will have close cooperation with the house's nurses, social and health care assistants and other staff, including union representatives and key persons. And not least your assistant manager. The assistant manager supports management and planning. You will naturally also work closely with residents, relatives and the nursing home's voluntary helpers.

You will receive administrative assistance from the area office and from the elderly area staff, who assist you with development tasks, quality assurance and legal and professional questions. In addition you can receive sparring from competent HR consultants and financial consultants.

As section manager at Trollehøj, an understanding of management responsibility, collaboration and coherence in a large organization are important guiding principles. We would like you to have a relevant health professional education and preferably leadership experience. Perhaps you already have a Diploma in Leadership or are willing to take the education. It would also be a great advantage if you have experience with person-centered care based on Kitwood's theory of person-centered care.

In Svendborg Municipality the salary for this type of position typically lies between DKK 48,119.00 and 76,333.00 per month for full-time employment. The salary includes pension, special holiday allowance and fixed allowances. There may also be shift allowances and other special allowances. It is important to note that your specific salary will be determined based on your experience, seniority and competences and agreed upon in negotiation with the relevant professional organization.
