Carpenter for wooden terraces and new builds in Herning

Are you a carpenter and would you like a company car and freedom with responsibility?

We need a carpenter for new builds and wooden terraces in Herning.

You will join a team of around 10 employees, where the work ranges from new builds to outdoor solutions in wood. The customers are both private and commercial, and the tasks are located around Herning, Ikast and Silkeborg. The day is varied, so you switch between your own tasks and tasks with a partner. There are wooden terraces, site-adjacent carpentry work and new builds where the finish must be visible.

You will have room to take responsibility for the task when you are on site. The company car is included, and a driving license is required because you drive out to the tasks yourself. The role makes the most sense if you can make a decision on site and speak up when something doesn’t add up.

What you’ll get Salary: DKK 190-210 per hour

Your everyday

In new builds, the day is about measuring, assembling and delivering the carpentry work in the order the site requires. For wooden terraces you work with construction, adjustment and finishing, so the customer gets a solution that fits the garden. When the task changes, you must be able to keep track of both detail and the whole.

You will, among other things, be working with

• Work on new builds of housing and commercial properties
• Build and install wooden terraces
• Carry out renovations and conversions
• Install windows and doors
• Build fences, shelters and outdoor woodwork

When the customer has special wishes, they must be translated into a buildable solution. You must therefore speak up early if an idea doesn’t hold up in practice.

We’re looking for you who can tick most boxes

You don’t need to be able to do everything. But you must be able to work independently and take responsibility for your commitments.

We imagine that you

• Have at least 3 years of experience as a carpenter
• Have a driving license
• Can work independently and with a partner
• Arrive reliably and keep commitments
• Speak politely with customers

It’s an advantage if you have worked with new builds, wooden terraces or outdoor woodwork. But the most important thing is that you take the lead and deliver something you can stand behind.
