About the job
Do you want to help unemployed sick-listed citizens back into the job market?
In connection with the restructuring of JobRanders, we are seeking 3 permanent caseworkers for Team Unemployed. You will become part of a department with many skilled colleagues, three professional consultants, and a department head, who together oversee ongoing sparring and professional development in the department.
Common focus on the core task
”We succeed when we purposefully and cross-professionally – and in interaction with our fellow citizens – strengthen their path to education, work and participation in society.”
With us, we work team-based on task solving, and you will therefore join a team where the central focus is always to solve our shared core task. We emphasize involving the citizen in their process from the start and thus enabling them to take responsibility for the plan that is laid out. We believe that we should meet the citizen with positive and clear expectations and requirements, as this is how we meet the citizen with respect.
We place great emphasis on creating direction in cases from day 1, so that together with the citizen we can create a plan for return within the individual’s job goals and opportunities.
We focus on creating coherent processes for citizens that extend across both sickness benefits and job clarification efforts. You will therefore work with citizens from the start of their sickness process until they are once again part of the labor market community.
We in the department focus on delivering good results for citizens and employers, and there is often little distance from idea to action, with a high degree of involvement possible. You will be part of one of our two Team Unemployed, where we work with unemployed citizens who are sick-listed or have been laid off during their sickness absence.
The team’s most important task is to support citizens’ path back to the labor market through an early and targeted effort. We focus on reorientation, clarifying job opportunities, establishing realistic job goals, and creating good matches between citizens and companies through initiations of company-oriented actions. The goal is that the individual citizen quickly regains a foothold in the labor market.
Your tasks will include
- Conduct interviews with citizens to establish a clear direction and consensus on the steps to take toward the job goal
- Plan, coordinate and implement actions in accordance with the case direction
- With the citizens, set concrete and realistic job goals based on an analysis of the citizen’s competencies and resources
- Prepare agreements on paid hours
- Make assessments of incapacity for work and make decisions
- Carry out systematic case processing towards flexi jobs, senior and disability pensions, including preparation of rehabilitation plans
- Case sparring with skilled colleagues
We are looking for this Employment Officer
You have a relevant education as social worker/social mediator or equivalent experience that you believe can benefit the core task. Your ability to focus on the citizen’s resources rather than constraints and help them identify their competencies is central. You are skilled at collaboration, flexible and welcoming.
Quality, structure and result orientation are important to you, both in your written work and in documenting your efforts in accordance with applicable law. It will be an advantage if you have knowledge of the employment field, including specifically the Sick Pay Act and the Employment Efforts Act.
We offer
An engaged work environment with a segmented area of work, where you work closely with skilled teams and colleagues who thrive both professionally and socially. We strive to be a workplace where there are good opportunities for personal and professional development as well as a high degree of influence on the department’s initiatives.
In management terms we emphasize each individual's professionalism and teamwork, and therefore a significant part of the competencies is delegated to the caseworker and their corresponding team. Management supports and guides each team to ensure optimal working conditions.
We also have a fruit scheme, canteen scheme, flexible working hours planning and the possibility of one day working from home per week.
