Center Director for Care and Health in Odsherred Municipality

The care and health sector is in the midst of some of the biggest changes in many years. In Odsherred we are seeking a center director who can lead them – while ensuring everyday life works for the citizens who every day need care, welfare and health interventions.

You will be responsible for a large and diverse center with about 700 monthly-paid and 250 hourly-paid employees and a budget of about DKK 700 million. But you also come to a municipality where, as center director, you have the opportunity to make a clear mark on how the future care, welfare and health will look in Odsherred.

There is plenty to tackle. The Elderly Act must be translated into practice, the health reform changes the area, financial management must be strengthened, and sick leave must go down. At the same time you will have an important task of bringing the leadership team together around common priorities and strengthen cooperation on cross-cutting tasks. Your task will be to set direction, create clarity and hold fast when joint decisions have to be turned into action.

We are looking for an experienced leader with broad insight into the elderly and health area and experience in leading leaders. You must be able to operate in the span between policy, professional ethics, economy and operations – and be a chief that people want to follow. We attach importance to clear and proper leadership, where you can listen, bring together and make the necessary decisions.
