Center Manager for study support at SOSU H

SOSU H educates the professionals of the future in social and health care. With a diverse student group, the Center for Study Support plays a central role in creating favorable conditions for learning, well-being and completion through targeted guidance and support efforts.

We are looking for a leader who can create good frameworks for our engaged and professionally strong staff, who every day support the students' learning, well-being and completion.

Leadership in a shared organization

As a leader you will become part of the Center for Student-oriented Resources, led by center director Pernille Lundberg, and which also consists of the Center for Educational Administration and the Center for Admission and Education Guidance.

You will be one of two leaders in the Center for Study Support and will be part of a close leadership collaboration with colleague leader Majbrith Schioldan Kusk.

The responsibilities are distributed geographically. You will have the management responsibility for the initiatives at SOSU H's departments in Hillerød, Helsingør, Gladsaxe and at Blågårds Street in Copenhagen, while your leadership colleague has the responsibility for the center's remaining departments.

You will have personnel responsibility for SPS counselors, reading tutors and education consultants. Together with your leadership colleague you ensure quality, development and a common direction for the study support efforts across the entire SOSU H.

Your main tasks

• Clear and presence-based staff leadership of SPS counselors, reading tutors and education consultants
• Create frameworks for staff well-being, development and engagement.
• Ensure quality in the guidance and support efforts and create coherence between strategy, operations and development
• Support collaboration with education managers and teachers, other support functions and external partners
• Contribute to the development of the SPS area, reading guidance and the initiatives of the education consultants as well as to the overall development of Center for Student-oriented Resources.
• View diversity as a strength.
• Manage to balance development and stable operations.
• Are interested in data, digitization and optimization

• Has insight into the education sector or other relevant experience that can be applied to the task, preferably complemented by experience within SPS, guidance, learning support or inclusive learning environments
• Can create followership through dialogue, involvement and clear prioritization.
• Thrives with leadership in a complex organization with many stakeholders.
• Has a view of both people, professionalism and results.
• Is collaborative and sees the strength in shared leadership and cross-cutting solutions.
• Sees data and systems as a significant part of development in the area.

Salary and employment terms are according to the applicable collective agreement between the Ministry of Finance and the relevant professional organizations. The average weekly work time is 37 hours including a paid lunch break, and we have smoke-free working hours. The place of employment is Skelbækgade 1, 1717 København V, but you may expect tasks at all our addresses in the Capital Region.
