Do you want to spend half a year making a difference – both for yourself and for others?

As a Change Agent in KFUM and KFUK you get a unique gap year or break from studies, where you try your hand at volunteering and project work in an inclusive community. You will become part of an organization that works to create meaningful communities for children and youth – and at the same time you gain experiences, experiences and friends for life.

Is it you we are looking for?

You are probably between 18 and 23 years old (but can also be older). Perhaps you have completed a youth education or a bachelor and want a half-year away from the books, where you invest your time in something that makes a difference.

The most important is that you

• Are passionate about KFUM and KFUK’s aims and activities
• Like working with children and young people
• Want to throw yourself into new challenges and learn along the way

What do you get as a Change Agent?

• Personal development within volunteering and leadership
• Experience with project management, events and activity development
• Practical experience in creating education, communities and events
• A strong network in KFUM and KFUK – locally and nationally
• Opportunity to test your own ideas and pursue what you are passionate about
• Lots of experiences, laughs and friendships together with the other Change Agents

Practical information

• Employment period: 11 January 2027 – 10 July 2027
• Salary: 6,000 + possibly housing compensation if you already have your own housing
• Housing: You are provided a dorm room

Your application does not need to be long – but make it personal so we get a good impression of you. You choose the format yourself. We think it’s extra cool if you make a short video or audio file – but text is of course also perfectly fine.

Interviews are held in week 44.

In the application you can, for example, base it on these questions

• Why do you want to become a Change Agent?
• What are you particularly good at?
• How would you like to develop yourself?
• What are you passionate about in the chosen profile(s)?
• What can you offer the local association or district?
• What background and experience do you have in KFUM and KFUK?
