About the job

The department has been hit by a baby boom and therefore we are seeking a temporary position in our psychosocial team. You will work with children and youths aged 0-16 who need a special intervention. This may be children and youths who have experienced violence, are struggling at school or in leisure time, or lack stability at home.

Your tasks will include

• Handling referrals
• Preparing screenings, assessments and child-related investigations
• Assessment and initiation of relevant interventions, including supportive actions in accordance with the Child Act § 32
• Follow-up on interventions in close collaboration with the child/young person, the family and the implementing body
• Working purposefully towards ensuring that the family after the end of the course can stand stronger – preferably with support from networks and civil society

Involvement is a cornerstone of our work. We work systematically to ensure that the child's voice is clear and active throughout the entire case process.

You will become part of a district team with about five other child and youth advisors, where you together handle cases from 2-3 schools in Rudersdal Municipality. You will also have close collaboration with the health visitor service and PPR, which are attached to the same schools.

In the entire department we are about 35 employees distributed across reception, the placement team, the specialist team and the psychosocial team – as well as two department leaders and an authority chief.

Terms of employment

A temporary position of 37 hours per week, both with start date 01 November 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter .

Salaries and terms of employment follow the applicable collective agreement and principles for new pay.
