  • That you initiate and follow up on supportive interventions, where it is ensured that the goals for the child’s or the young person’s development are achieved
  • Participation in meetings with children, parents and partners, including that you are a meeting leader.
  • Written documentation of the case processes and decisions.

Your competences

  • Is a team player with a focus on how you can contribute to the department
  • Has flair for the administrative part of the work and can work systematically. We work in DUBU.

What you get with us

  • An ambitious, diverse and creative workplace
  • Ongoing competence development, e.g. via shared professional days with external teacher
  • Good colleagues who look forward to welcoming you
  • An introduction plan, mentoring scheme and training as needed

Who are we

In Ballerup Municipality we have a Children and Youth Policy that forms the basis for our daily work. Words like community, education and leisure are consistent in the close work and professional assessments.

We are ambitious and we set the bar high in our work with children, young people and families. We believe that if we are in close dialogue with them and start from their wishes and needs, we create the best conditions for children and young people to develop positively. We also have a strong focus on involving the children and young people in their own case, both in meetings with them and in the written documentation.

We collaborate cross-professionally to find solutions together with the children, the young people and the families and do not let professional and organizational divisions hinder good solutions. Ballerup Municipality works with Integrated Citizen Pathways as a method across the municipality, including the cross-professional collaboration.

In the Family Team we work in five smaller district teams, each consisting of 7-9 advisers connected to two team leaders. We have chosen this to ensure closer collegial communities and more presenceful leadership.

The Children and Youth Advisors in the Family Team sit with all types of cases and tasks, so the workload is broad. We have chosen this to try to avoid unnecessary adviser turnover in line with the intentions of the Child Act, but also because we believe it contributes to creating skilled children and youth advisers.
