About the job

The department has been experiencing a baby boom and therefore we are seeking a temporary employee in our psychosocial team. You will work with children and young people aged 0-16 who need a special intervention. These may be children and young people who have been exposed to violence, are struggling at school or in their leisure time, or lack stability at home.

Your tasks will include

• Handling referrals
• Preparation of screenings, assessments and child welfare investigations
• Assessing and initiating relevant interventions, including supportive interventions pursuant to the Child Act § 32
• Follow-up on interventions in close cooperation with the child/young person, the family and the practitioner
• Working purposefully so that the family after the end of the process can be stronger – ideally with support from networks and civil society

Involvement is a cornerstone of our work. We work systematically to ensure that the child’s voice is clear and active throughout the case proceedings.

You will become part of a district team with about five other child advisers, where you together handle cases from 2-3 schools in Rudersdal Municipality. You will also have close cooperation with the health visitors and PPR, which are connected to the same schools.

Across the department there are about 35 employees distributed among the reception, the placement team, the special team and the psychosocial team – as well as two department managers and an authority chief.

Employment terms

A 37-hour-per-week temporary position, with start on 01 November 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter .

Salary and terms follow the applicable collective agreement and the principles for new pay.
