Church singer - RE-ADVERTISEMENT - A position as church singer at Harring and Stagstrup Churches is available as of 16 November 2026.

The position is 7 hours per week.

Harring and Stagstrup parishes are two cozy and active rural parishes where the church is a natural part of the local community. We attach importance to good community, presence and an open and welcoming church, where there is room for tradition and renewal.

The church singer shall undertake the following tasks

• Participate in high mass and other worship services.
• Participate in church ceremonies such as baptisms, weddings, funerals and burials.
• Lead singing of hymns during services and church ceremonies.

We expect that you

• Have a good and well-functioning singing voice.
• Have an understanding of the church's liturgy and musical tradition or wish to attain this.
• Can sing confidently and naturally in front of a larger audience.
• Are reliable, responsible and flexible.
• Are good at collaborating with both staff and volunteers.
• Have an understanding of the Church of Denmark's mission and its place in the local community.
• Can work independently and take responsibility for own tasks.
• Show respect, presence and empathy in meetings with the church's users.
• Are prepared to work on weekends and public holidays.

Employment of a church singer is covered by the Collective Agreement between the Ministry of Taxation and CO10 - Central Organization of 2010 and the organizational agreement between the Ministry of Church Affairs and CO10 for church functionaries with core tasks such as registrar, church and cultural worker or church musician and the accompanying protocol for church musicians.

The annual salary is agreed within the range of 331,619,- DKK – 472,557,- DKK (current kroner).

There is (not - in gray field) a on-call commitment for the position. The on-call allowance amounts to annually 27,465,- DKK (current kroner).

OK allowance of 1,075,- DKK (current kroner) per year.

Salary, OK allowance and on-call allowance are pro-rated in accordance with the position's employment fraction.
