About the job

Req-id: 3025

Employment type: Full time

Location: København SV, DK, 2450

Department: Accident

Gjensidige has its roots in Norway and a history dating back to 1816. Today we are a leading Nordic insurance company with about 4,600 employees in Norway, Sweden and Denmark. Together we ensure life, health and values, and we go to work to be there when it matters – for our customers, for each other and for society.

At Personal Injury in Gjensidige we are busy – in a meaningful way. Therefore we are looking for a claims handler who will be part of our accident team in Copenhagen (Sydhavnen). Here you will have 17 engaged colleagues, who every day work to create security and good customer experiences when life hurts.

The department's main goals are high customer satisfaction, that we keep our promises to the customer, and that we always deliver high quality that customers can understand. Our everyday life with us is both exciting and challenging. We benchmark openly, share knowledge and have regular performance dialogues for ongoing development. We give each other honest feedback – because we want the best for each other and want to deliver strong results as a team.

As a claims handler you will be the customer's safe contact throughout the process. You speak with customers on the phone at the report, during the process and at the conclusion – whether the case ends in compensation or denial. Many customers are hard hit, and you must be able to accommodate their situation and give them presence, courtesy and clear communication.

  • Initiation of the claims handling process

, including assessment of the need for coverage of treatments e.g. with a physiotherapist, assessment of permanent impairment, handling of various add-on coverages

You will have a workday with high professionalism, great trust and clear boundaries, and you will play an important role in balancing customer consideration and correct compensation payout.

Who are you?

We imagine you have the following background

  • Personal injury handler with a minimum of 2 years' experience

  • Create positive energy for the team
  • Have AI competencies and understand how to bring them into play, or are willing to learn it
