Club assistant for Klub Højen – do you have energy, good ideas and a desire to create active communities?

We are looking for a club assistant for a position of 33 hours per week, of which 5 hours are in school. The position is a club assistant position – not a pedagogical/educator position.

We would like to have even more movement, sport and outdoor life into everyday life. Therefore we are looking for an employee who wants to lead and start activities.

What will your role be?

As a club assistant you will become an important part of the children's everyday life. You must be a present and engaged adult who can both build good relationships and take the initiative for activities.

You can for example arrange ball games, tournaments, outdoor games, trips in nature or other activities that the children find exciting. You must be able to generate ideas, translate them into action and want to participate yourself. At the same time you should have an eye for the children who need an extra invitation into the community.

You will also be part of the collaboration with the school, where 5 of your weekly working hours are placed.

• have an interest in sport, movement and outdoor life
• are good at building relationships with children and young people
• can engage children with different interests and backgrounds
• dare to lead and at the same time be receptive to the children's own ideas
• are independent, responsible and a good colleague
• can collaborate with colleagues, teachers and parents
• have a valid driving license (category B) and be willing to drive the club's nine-seat minibus.

We already have three pedagogues employed in Klub Højen and want to supplement the staff with a club assistant. The position does not require a pedagogical education. We especially emphasize your initiative, your ability to build relationships and your desire to initiate activities together with the children.

Experiences are a part of club life

We also create shared experiences outside the usual club days. This could be overnight stays at the club, colonies, trips to Lalandia or other events.

There is evening work a couple of times a month, and weekend and overnight work may occur in connection with special activities and trips.

Salary and terms of employment

The position is 33 hours per week, of which 5 hours are in school and 28 hours in Klub Højen. Salary and terms of employment are according to the applicable collective agreement. A child-safety background check will be obtained prior to employment.
