Job Description

Would you like to help ensure high quality, optimal operation and energy-efficient solutions in buildings? We are looking for a skilled commissioning advisor who can take responsibility for technical solutions – from design to operation.

About the task

As a commissioning advisor you will be an important part of our projects, ensuring that technical installations operate optimally – in terms of performance, operation and energy. You will work closely with project teams, customers and operations staff and function as both specialist and sparring partner.

Your main responsibilities include, among others

• Commissioning leadership and advisory on building projects
• Preparation of operation manuals and optimization of building operation
• Energy optimization and quality assurance of technical installations
• Supervision and technical client advisory
• Sparring with colleagues, customers and operations staff
• Planning and execution of tests and commissioning
• Follow-up on performance and handover to operation.

Your daily life will be characterized by variation and technical challenges, but also responsibility and influence over your own tasks. You will work together with skilled colleagues in an engaged technical-professional environment.

Qualifications

As part of a consulting company we expect that in your work you are approachable and good at communicating and collaborating with many different stakeholders.

You have an electrical or HVAC technical background with experience from a similar position in the construction industry, building operation or production. In addition

• you are a trained engineer (HVAC/E) or mechanical engineer or equivalent
• have 3 years of experience or more as an engineer or installer
• are familiar with BMS/CTS
• are proficient with the Office package and relevant digital platforms
• and design/project management experience is an advantage.

You are able to work and analyze problems independently and able to propose solutions. You are able to share and communicate your professional knowledge to customers, colleagues and partners.

Workplace

AFRY has 9 locations in Denmark. Your fixed workplace will be at our office in either Aarhus or Herning - depending on your own location. The work varies between office and construction sites. A driving license and possibly your own car are therefore necessary to perform the role.
