Control Center Operator

As an operations duty in the Control Center, you will be a central part of monitoring the electricity grid that supplies 800,000 homes and businesses. You work closely with colleagues to ensure stable deliveries and handle operating situations. The role is for you who want to develop professionally and help find new ways to solve the tasks. Become a key player in the monitoring of the electricity grid

In the role as operations duty you work in the Control Center, which is the hub for the control and monitoring of the electricity grid. You will receive thorough training and become part of a team where tasks are solved collectively. You contribute to the daily operation, handling deviations and developing new ways of working. You collaborate with other departments and specialist groups to ensure that the grid is ready for the needs of the future.

Your main tasks

• Perform switching operations during planned work
• Monitor the electricity grid and respond to deviations and operational disturbances
• Contribute to optimal use of the grid's capacity
• Participate in training and exercises in extraordinary situations

You will also be involved in tasks that support collaboration across the organization and contribute to the ongoing development of the Control Center's workflows. The work is primarily daytime, but there are also evening, night and weekend shifts.

We are looking for a colleague with technical insight and strong operations focus

You have an electrical engineering background and thrive in a role where you must maintain an overview in operating situations. You are motivated to learn and can make clear decisions when required. You work in a structured way and contribute positively to collaboration in the team.

We would like you to have

• Have an electrical engineering education as an electrical installer (elinstallatør), marine engineer (maskinmester) or high-voltage engineer (stærkstrømsingeniør)
• Have experience from the electric sector or are a recent graduate eager to learn
• Can make decisions in complex operating situations
• Work independently and responsibly
• Contribute actively to professional sparring and collaboration

It is a condition of employment that you can obtain security clearance and maintain the clearance throughout the employment.
