Restaurant Anker seeks a skilled and quality-conscious cook for our team in Aarhus C.

At Fiskerivej 12 in the wooden-ship harbor in Aarhus lies Restaurant Anker. Between yachts, small cutters and the sound of waves. We are a restaurant that does not intend to take ourselves too seriously. Here you will find neither flamboyant pinkies nor waiters with noses in the clouds, but a dedicated team that revolves around the good dining experience.

We love the Southern European culture that brings friends and family together for a well-prepared meal, with good and simple ingredients. Let us take you on a journey around the sunlit coasts along the Mediterranean, and try our interpretations of the best dishes.

Everyday life consists of both à la carte and banquets – from calm days to periods with high tempo and many guests.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of à la carte and banquet menus
• Participation in the kitchen's daily operations, including support, lunch and dinner service, as well as event execution
• Cleaning, stock ordering and self-check
• Collaboration with colleagues in a busy environment

We expect that you

• Are a trained chef or have several years of experience as an untrained cook
• Lead by example and take responsibility in practice
• Have knowledge of food hygiene and procedures
• Are reliable, flexible and positive
• Speak Danish or English

• Good hours and work rhythm – typically 10:00–22:00 in a 4/3 shift pattern
• Pay according to qualifications
